2023 ATA Annual Report Now Available

Last year was one of continued learning and development for the Andean weavers who were hit hard by the pandemic and political unrest of recent years. Our 2023 annual report shines light on the resilient efforts undertaken by those weavers and the impact your donations have made. Just consider these results made possible because of your contributions:

  • 9 grants funded
  • 291 Andean adult weavers and their families supported
  • 225 young Andean weavers trained in traditional techniques
  • 101 kilos (222.7 pounds) of cochineal dye supplied to 10 Andean weaving communities to sustain their natural dyeing
  • 1 new community weaving shelter completed
  • 5 revived Andean weaving techniques
